I reblogged this thinking that it was referencing how go motion animator Phil Tippett — whose work can be seen in films such as The Empire Strikes Back and RoboCop — was going to use that particular special effects method for Jurassic Park until the studio opted for CGI dinosaurs. It was after that thought I finally saw the joke. Still funny, regardless.
